PH 4½-3½ Floor Lamp

Poul Henningsen designed the three-part lampshade back in 1925/26, and the first models, created with the help of Louis Poulsen, were exhibited at a show in Paris. This collaboration lasted until P. Henningsen's death in 1967. Throughout his life, Poul Henningsen was committed to creating lamps with glare-free light that cast soft shadows and direct the light cone to the right place. The PH 4½ 3½ Glass Floor Lamp is part of a series of 30 models with 3-part shades, three of which are outdoor lights. Poul Henningsen was not only interested in designing a lamp, but an entire system, which over the years has resulted in around a thousand models.
