Vilhelm Lauritzen designed the Studio lamp in the 1940s for Radiohuset in Copenhagen, the broadcasting house he planned down to every interior detail. Some of the original wall lamps hung outside the studios and showed with a red or green light whether a recording was under way, hence the name. Louis Poulsen reintroduced the family in 2022 and based this table and floor version on the head of the original wall lamp.
A housing of brushed brass or matt black painted aluminium holds glossy, mouth-blown, three-layered opal glass that spreads soft, glare-free light all around. The brass is left untreated and develops a patina over time. The glass unscrews to change the bulb.
Three sizes: Ø 15 cm, the diameter of the original wall lamp, with an on/off switch on the cord, and Ø 25 and Ø 32 cm with a dimmer on the cord. Each can stand on a table or directly on the floor.

Care
| Glass | Clean with a soft cloth and glass cleaner or water with a drop of detergent. Mouth-blown and coloured glass is best washed by hand. |
|---|---|
| Brass | Untreated brass develops a natural patina. Dust with a dry cloth; to restore the shine use a brass polish. Lacquered brass only needs a soft, dry cloth. |
| Aluminium | Clean with a soft cloth, lukewarm water and a mild detergent, then dry. Avoid abrasive sponges and acidic or alkaline cleaners. Raw aluminium may darken slightly over time. |
