Yuh was designed in 2017 for Louis Poulsen by the Danish-Italian duo GamFratesi. The name is the phonetic spelling of ‘you’ and points to the idea behind it: a personal lamp that takes up little space and lights exactly the area it is turned towards.
The shade rotates and moves up and down on the arm, and its angle can be adjusted. Its form follows this movement geometrically, from a circle at the bottom to a narrow linear opening at the top. Most of the light falls downwards without glare, while the opening sends a soft light upwards.
The integrated LED dims steplessly from 15 to 100 % via the button on the wall box which also sets a timer for 4 or 8 hours. Connected with a 2.5 m cord and plug, it suits a bedside, a reading chair or a desk. Available in black or white, each also with a brushed brass rear housing.

Care
| Aluminium | Clean with a soft cloth, lukewarm water and a mild detergent, then dry. Avoid abrasive sponges and acidic or alkaline cleaners. Raw aluminium may darken slightly over time. |

| Brass | Untreated brass develops a natural patina. Dust with a dry cloth; to restore the shine use a brass polish. Lacquered brass only needs a soft, dry cloth. |
