The London designer Magnus Long drew the Lagoa for Objekto as a simple chair for cafés, restaurants and homes. Its lines come from Rio de Janeiro and its name from the Lagoa district around the city's lagoon.
Seat and back are moulded plywood, joined to a light frame of black steel. The back seems to float on the tip of a triangular rear frame. The chair stacks.
Veneer in oiled oak, walnut or black stained oak.

Care
| Plywood | Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry. Protect edges from moisture and avoid harsh or solvent-based cleaners. |
|---|---|
| Steel | Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and dry immediately. Powder-coated surfaces tolerate a mild detergent; avoid abrasive cleaners. Raw steel can develop a patina and is best kept dry. |
