Guframini Pratone reduces Pratone, the oversized patch of grass by Giorgio Ceretti, Pietro Derossi and Riccardo Rosso, to a scale of 1:8. The full-size seat, conceived in 1971, appeared in "Italy: The New Domestic Landscape" at MoMA in New York in 1972 and asked people to sink in among its stems rather than sit on them.
The miniature has 42 flexible stems of soft polyurethane rising from a base marked with the Pratone name. It measures 17 by 17 cm and 12 cm high and weighs 600 g. It comes in a wooden box with a sliding lid.
The same designers' Puffo is in the shop at full size, as are the miniatures Guframini Bocca and Guframini Cactus.
