Another White Cactus

CACTUS® by Gufram, designed by Guido Drocco and Franco Mello in 1972, is a whimsical take on a coat rack and an icon of radical Italian design. Human-sized, its distinctive silhouette transformed interior design. Made from soft polyurethane, each CACTUS® retains the original shape, featuring four arms and 2,165 hand-finished ashlars. Coated with Guflac® paint, it offers a durable, leather-like texture that preserves its timeless appeal.

ANOTHER WHITE CACTUs® has a warm, natural hue, with a shade of white approaching ivory and the color of canvas. This coating gives CACTUS® a soft yet durable leather that can last for many years without losing its original appeal.

Gufram has created, in collaboration with world-renowned artists, memorable editions of CACTUS® such as: GOD by TOILETPAPER, PSYCHEDELIC CACTUS® and SUNRISE CACTUS® by Paul Smith, RADIANT CACTUS® by ORDOVAS Gallery, the three ANDY'S CACTUS® made in collaboration with the Andy Warhol Foundation, and SHROOM CACTUS® with A$AP Rocky. 

CACTUS® has earned a place in design history over the years. Today it is exhibited in such prestigious institutions as the Milan Triennale, the National Art Museum of China in Beijing, the Barbican in London, and the
Smithsonian Design Museum in New York.
