The Paulistano OC is the office version of the Paulistano armchair by Paulo Mendes da Rocha. It was developed in 1985 within Nucleon 8, a group of Brazilian designers, and keeps the idea of the original: a bent steel bar holding a leather sling.
Here the frame sits on a swivel base with five castors, and the seat height adjusts from 43 to 54 cm. The cover is full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather that darkens and softens with use. Frame in polished stainless steel or phosphated carbon steel.
