Guframini Magritta is Roberto Matta's Magritta armchair of 1970 at a scale of 1:8. Matta, the Chilean surrealist painter, built the chair from two motifs of René Magritte, the black bowler hat and the green apple, and went one step further by setting the apple into the hat.
The miniature is made of soft polyurethane in the black and green Matta chose for the original. It measures 14 by 14 cm and 9.5 cm high and weighs 250 g. It comes in a wooden box with a sliding lid.
The full-size Magritta armchair is in the shop, as are the later colourways Jaune and Rouge.
