Puffo Pouf - Grey

Puffo is a low, domed seat designed in 1968 by Giorgio Ceretti, Pietro Derossi and Riccardo Rosso, the same trio behind Pratone. It was first presented at the 14th Triennale di Milano and later appeared in "Italy: The New Domestic Landscape", the 1972 exhibition at MoMA in New York. Gufram counts it among its domestic sculptures rather than its upholstered pieces.

Each Puffo begins as a block of polyurethane foam that is worked by hand until its surface has the grain of cast concrete. It is then finished in Guflac® Ultra, the more resistant development of Gufram's elastic Guflac® paint. The seat measures Ø 52.5 cm and 46 cm high and weighs 9 kg. Because the finish is applied by hand, colour and texture vary slightly from piece to piece.

Puffo is also available in blue, red and yellow. The Guframini Pratone shows the same designers' field of grass at 1:8. The grey version is a cool mid grey that brings the concrete-like texture to the fore.
